STEP 1
Log in to your Syndicast account > click on the RADIO SYNDICATION button in the Main Menu's SHOW | PODCAST section > click on the Add New Show button.
If you have not entered the billing details earlier then you need to do it now in order to continue the process. You will not be charged at this point. Once you have provided the billing data you can continue submitting your show.
STEP 2 - SELECT THE SERVICE
Please select the service you would like to use. Note that this cannot be changed later.
a, If you want to get your radio show picked up and aired worldwide by FM, DAB, Satellite and online radio stations, select RADIO SYNDICATION.

b, If you want to get your radio show on radio stations worldwide, and have it listed on all the major streaming platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Deezer and many more, select RADIO SYNDICATION AND PODCASTING.

STEP 3 - RADIO SHOW TITLE
Please enter the title of your radio show (e.g. Syndicast Sessions) in the pop-up window, and then click SAVE.
MyRadioShowSettings and Show Status
Please provide all the required information on the "MyRadioShowSettings" page. Once everything is completed, you can proceed to check out and start the syndication of your radio show.
There is a RADIO SHOW STATUS section on the left-hand side. Once all the RADIO SHOW STATUS sections are ticked green then you will be able to proceed to the payment and start the syndication of your radio show.
STEP 4 - ARTWORK
You can provide your radio show's details by any order. Let's see how to provide the Artwork first.
Click on the UPLOAD button in the ARTWORK section.
Please choose and save the artwork of your radio show from the pop-up window.
The artwork must be square with a minimum size of 1400 x 1400 pixels and a maximum size of 3000 x 3000 pixels, 72 dpi, in JPEG or PNG format with appropriate file extensions (.jpg, .png), and in the RGB colour space.
To be eligible for featured placement in iTunes / Apple Podcasts, the artwork must be 3000 x 3000 px with the quality specifications above.
STEP 5 - BASIC DETAILS
Text next section is the BASIC DETAILS. To provide the required basic details of your radio show click on EDIT.
Please fill in the required information of your radio show in the pop-up window.
Radio show name*
You have already entered the name of the radio show (title). You can change it here if you'd like to.
Presenter*
Enter the name of the presenter / host of the show. For example: John White.
Language*
Select the language of your podcast, e.g. English. If there is no speech in your podcast, select the country that you live in.
Genres*
Select all genres that are relevant to your radio show
Content*
Select all content types that are relevant to your show. For example: if you speak in your show, dj mix or music is the base of the programme, and there are jingles in the show, select: Talk, Mix, Jingles. If there is no talking, just jingles and music, select Mix, Jingles.
Length in minutes*
The length of your show, for example: 60 minutes. Usual show lengths are 60 or 120 minutes; if the length of yours is different, please contact us.
Start date*
Select the start date of the show. For example: if you choose Tuesday, 1st December 2020, that means your first episode will be delivered to the subscribed radios on that day and the system will schedule the upcoming episodes from that date.
Frequency*
Select the frequency of your show, for example: weekly. If your show is monthly, you also need to select how the next shows will be scheduled.
Upcoming episodes will be scheduled on the
- same day of the week
- same day of the month
Please select when your new episodes will be due for delivery compared to the start date.
For example: If your show starts on Thursday the 5th, you will have two options: The first is that your subsequent shows will be on the 5th day of every successive month. The second option is that your subsequent shows will be on the first Thursday of each month.
STEP 6 - DESCRIPTION
Please provide the description of your radio show. Click on EDIT.
Describe your show in a couple of sentences. Make sure it grabs the attention of radio stations / your future listeners without even listening to any episodes. The description is very important because it will be used on all Syndicast platforms, and radio stations will use it for promotional purposes.
STEP 7 - MEDIA / PRESS
In this section, you need to enter your social media links as well as upload the press pack of your show. To find out what your press pack should contain visit this link.
Please note that the press pack is mandatory.
STEP 8 - RSS FEED SETTINGS (This step is relevant to you only if you have chosen Podcast Hosting too)
To set up your RSS FEED SETTINGS of your radio show click on EDIT first.
Your podcast's listings in directories use these data. Please note that if you make any changes within the RSS FEED SETTINGS, it might take a day or two to see the changes on every platform.
Please provide all required data in the pop-up window:
Bitrate*
Select the bitrate of the podcast. We recommend 192kbps so your listeners won’t need to use much mobile data if they are listening to it via mobile devices.
Category*
Select the category that your podcast fits the best.
Subtitle*
Enter the subtitle of your podcast.
Copyright*
Enter the name of the copyright owner of the podcast.
Author*
Enter the name of the author of the podcast.
Owner email*
Enter the email of the owner of the podcast. Make sure you have access to it because when you submit your podcast to directories, they will verify you through this email address.
Keywords*
Enter the keywords of your podcast. Please separate them by commas.
Show URL / website
Enter the website of your podcast if you have one. If not, we recommend that you use the URL of your free landing page provided by Syndicast after it was requested.
Explicit Content*
Does this podcast contain explicit material?
Step 9 - EPISODES
Finally, please upload a radio show episode. Click on +ADD NEW EPISODE.
Please provide the following data on the uploading page:
Upload episode artwork*
Upload the episode artwork. The shape must be square and the size between 2000 x 2000 and 4000 x 4000 px - 72 DPI. The size must be under 5MB.
Episode number*
Enter the episode number. The accepted format is three digits. For example: 067 or 157.
Guest
If there is a guest in your show, please enter their name. For example: Kate Long. If there is no guest, just leave the box blank.
Clean or explicit*
It is a requirement to choose Clean or Explicit. If your episode contains any swear words or obscene lyrics, you must select Explicit.
Delivery date*
Please select the delivery date of the episode. You can schedule several episodes in advance.
Upload episode*
Please choose the radio show episode file. The only format accepted is mp3, 320 kbps. You must also make sure that the show is high-quality and mastered properly. If you have any doubts, please do not hesitate to contact us. PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE IS NO ARTWORK ADDED TO THE METADATA OF THE MP3 FILE.
When it’s all completed, click on NEXT STEP.
The next step is the episode description.
You can describe the episode for the radio stations. This is not mandatory so you have the options of leaving it blank, entering a short description or entering important links for you.
Tracklist*
Please paste in the tracklist of the episode. Recommended format: artist - title (remix) / label. This box cannot be left blank. If you do not have a tracklist, please enter: Tracklist is not available for the episode. We believe providing a tracklist is important so the radios can report the songs they play and then the producers of the tracks will receive royalties.
When you are ready, click on UPLOAD.
Once the uploading process starts, please do not close the window while the files are uploading. The window will be closed automatically when the upload is completed. If the upload was successful, the episode will appear in your episode list.
When all the RADIO SHOW STATUS sections are ticked green, click on the CHECK OUT AND START button.
You will be directed to the Payment page.
STEP 10 – PAYMENT
The last step of the submission is to make the first payment.

UPLOADING SERVICES
If you would like to use any of our uploading services, please select one or both of them.
1, Soundcloud Auto-Uploading. Our system can schedule the upload of your episodes to Soundcloud. Select this option if you want to use the service. After the payment, you need to connect your Syndicast account to your Soundcloud account (if you haven't done it yet) via API in the UPLOADING SERVICES settings. How to link Syndicast to Soundcloud
2, Mixcloud Auto-Uploading. Our system can schedule the upload of your episodes to Mixcloud. Select this option if you want to use the service. After the payment, you need to connect your Syndicast account to your Mixcloud account (if you haven't done it yet) via API in the UPLOADING SERVICES settings. How to link Syndicast to Mixcloud
BILLING PERIOD
Select the length of the period you would like to pay for. (For 6 and 12 months advanced payments there is a discount.)
PAYMENT METHOD
Select the payment method. (Paypal for card and Paypal payments / Bank Transfer for international or national bank transfers)
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Accept the Terms and Conditions.
Press "CHECK OUT"
If you choose bank transfer as the payment method, please do not forget that it might take 1 to 4 working days to receive it.
Once the payment is received, our operators will receive the podcast and all the details you have provided. They will check these as soon as possible and, if everything is correct, give it a green light.
STEP 11 - SUBMITTING YOUR PODCAST (This step is relevant to you only if you have chosen Podcast Hosting too)
When your radio show has been paid and approved, you will be able to see its unique RSS Feed URL by going to SHOW | PODCAST > PODCAST HOSTING > My Podcast(s).
Once your podcast has at least one PUBLISHED episode, you'll be able to get it listed on streaming platforms / podcast directories by submitting the RSS feed.
You can choose from 17 different platforms. Select the platforms you would like to be listed on and follow the steps HERE.
Syndicast’s radio syndication service will enable you to link your Syndicast account with Soundcloud and Mixcloud and schedule the uploading of your new podcast episodes. You can find the setup guides here:
