When you created a "record label" follow these steps to submit the release for distribution.
Make sure you complete all fields, otherwise we cannot approve your release!
1, In the MUSIC SERVICES menu's Music Distribution section, click on the My Releases button.
2, On the right-hand side the MYRELEASES page will appear. Here you can see your releases and manage them.
Click on ADD RELEASE.
3, In the Add Release window you need to enter the following info:
a, Record Label - Select the record label that this release is assigned to.
b, Release Name - The release name is the name of the album, single or EP. The release name should not contain mix information.
Example: Deep Mind Control
c, Release Artist Name - Enter the artist / band name of this release including any featuring, presents, versus artists, or in case of compilations enter Various Artists.
Example: Umek & Stefano Noferini feat. Gracie
When its completed click on ADD RELEASE.
4, Once the release is created you will be directed to the release page. Here you need to provide further information of the release.
You can start to do anything with your release only once the PROMO STATUS's sections are all ticked green.
a, ARTWORK - Please select and upload the release artwork. Its size has to be 2000x2000px - 3000x3000px.
b, DATES
Official Release Date* - Select the date when the album, single or EP officially will be released.
Promotion Starts - The date when the promotion of this release starts. - Select the date only if you will be running promotions, if not leave it blank.
Promotion Ends - The date when the promotion of this release ends. - Select the date only if you will be running promotions, if not leave it blank.
Pre-order Date (for distribution only) - Choose your pre-order date if you have one. This is only optional, not mandatory.
Beatport exclusivity (for distribution only) -Select how many weeks the release will be exclusive on Beatport. This is only optional, not mandatory.
c, RELEASE DETAILS
Format - Choose how your release will be released, on digital / vinyl / cd or all.
Release Type - Select the type of the release. Single, Full length, EP
Genres - select the genre that best fits this release. You can select more.
Catalog Number - Enter the catalog number of the release. Catalog number should contain letters and numbers only. Example: BSM032
EAN / UPC (for distribution only) -This is a 12 or 13 digit numeric code that identifies your release / product. If you do not have a UPC / EAN, one can be assigned for you.
©Line (for distribution only) - This is the copyright information for track ordering, artwork and text of this product. Example: "1969 Apple Records"
d, DESCRIPTION
Release Description - This should be an accurate description or press text of the release and the tracks that feature on it.
e, TRACKS
The track data is made of two part. The first is BASIC DATA and DISTRIBUTION DATA (for distribution only). If you use the promotion or Virtual Label Manager service you need to fill up the BASIC DATA and if you use the Distribution then the DISTRIBUTION DATA too.
BASIC DATA:
Artist - Enter the artist that this track is by.
Title - The track title, also known as track name. It should contain only the title and not specific mix name or artist details. Example: Deep Down Dirty
Mix - Enter the mix name of this track. Track titles should not be entered here.
If only one version exists 'Original Mix' is recommended. Mix names should be in the following formats: Original Mix or Umek & Stefano Noferini Remix.
Genre - Select the genre that best fits this track. You can select only one.
ISRC code (for distribution only)
If you have your own - enter it
If you do not have a UPC / EAN, one can be assigned for you.
An International Standard Recording Code, or ISRC is a 12-character alphanumeric code that identifies a unique sound recording or music video. If this track has already been distributed by you or another party, then you must use the original ISRC. You cannot use the same ISRC for an audio track and its music video version. ISRC misuse can result in lost revenue. If you do not have an ISRC, one can be assigned for you.
Remixer(s) (for distribution only) - The name of any remixers featured on this track.
Songwriter(s) (for distribution only) - Enter the full birth names of all songwriters for this track. Accurate songwriter information is important to ensure that this track can be licensed in a timely manner. Failure to provide accurate songwriter information can result in lost revenue due to a track's inability to be licensed.
Featured artist(s) (for distribution only) - The name of any featured artists on this track.
(P)Line (for distribution only) - The phonographic rights line, also referred to as the sound recording copyright symbol, (P) Line, or Ⓟ Notice, provides notice of copyright in a sound recording. Enter the first year this sound recording was released, plus the entity that originally owned the master sound recording. For example: "1990 Original Owner's Name" or "2017 My Label's Name"
Ownership for this sound recording - The owner of the master copyright is entitled to claim royalties generated by various uses of the "master" sound recording. Depending on the country, royalties can be generated from "public performances" of a sound recording, such as when played at a bar or nightclub, or when broadcast on television or radio. The uses of a sound recording in user-generated content (UGC), such as YouTube videos, can also generate royalties. The master rights usually belong to the entity that financed a song's recording, which is typically a record label.
Lyrics language - This is the language used in the performance of the track. For instumentals, please select "Instrumental" as your Lyrics Language.
Explicit - Select "Yes" if this track contains explicit language or subject matter not appropriate for all audiences. Only select "Clean" if this is the clean version of another track. Do not select "Clean" if this is the only version of this track.
Primary performer(s) - A primary performer is a performer who is bound by an exclusive agreement with the commissioning record company to perform on this recorded music track. This does not include agreements to do session work or agreements with producers or remixers.
Featured performer(s) - A featured performer is a performer who contributes an audible performance to this recorded music track and is either a lead vocalist not exclusively contracted to the record company (but whose personal or professional name appears with, or is linked to, the name of the primary artist on the track), or a performer who is entitled under the terms of a contract with the primary artist to receive royalties from sales of this recording.
Country of recording - Choose the country where the majority of the recording sessions for this track took place.
Nationality of original copyright owner - Choose the country where the original owner of the master rights was based or incorporated at the time of recording. The original owner can be an individual person or a business entity.
f, UPLOADING TRACKS & CHOOSING SNIPPETS
Please note you can upload only .wav files.
You can upload the track by clicking on the TRACK (upload) button.
Once the track is uploaded the track sign will be changed to a green tick sign, then you need to select the snippet. Snippets are used for Youtube and Soundcloud. You have three choices:
1, Use the full track
2, Crop from the full track
3, Upload manually.
If you chose "Crop from full track" you need to enter: Crop starts from (in seconds) and Crop length (in seconds).
When everything completed you can see this status of the track:
If you'd like to add more tracks, you only need to repeat these steps.
In case you'd like to edit the track, delete the files just click on the green square in the track section.

Once you have provided all the information you have 3 different options to choose from:


We accept only Techno and Tech-house releases for promotion. Before you submit a release, make sure all data is provided. The invoice will be sent after the inspection.
When all data is entered, you can select, what you want to do with your release. You can send it to your DJs (after importing them), send the release to 100s of Radio Stations, Schedule the uploading to Youtube and Soundcloud.
